OVERVIEW:

 Students will be learning greetings, farewells, and other basic courtesies, as well as getting familiar with the sounds in Spanish.

OBJECTIVES:

1.     SWD proper use of courtesies with peers.  (7.2 A, B)

2.     SWD knowledge of the Spanish alphabet and the sounds of the Spanish letters when listening and/or speaking (7.1 A, B)

3.     SW be exposed to new vocabulary – numbers 1-20, simple courtesy expressions for asking age, about health, etc. (7.1 A)

ASSESSMENTS:

1.     Quiz  - the Spanish Alphabet

2.     Autoevaluaci—n – Self Evaluation activity from the textbook

3.     Teacher observation of  oral practice activities  - greetings and other courtesies

4.     Homework assignments
