OVERVIEW: Students will read a short story
– Rosa- and
practice the four communication skills as well as review the past tenses
– preterite and imperfect. OBJECTIVES: 1. SWD comprehension of new
vocabulary by applying it to new situations (7.1 A, B) 2. SWD comprehension of the story by answering questions and
discussing ideas in groups (7.1 B)
3. SW use key words to retell parts of the story (7.1 B) 4. SWD proper use of the past
tenses.
ASSESSMENT: 1. Teacher observation of student
participation and performance during oral and written activities
2. Quiz – the preterite and the imperfect – next week 3. Homework assignments |
