LCMR High School Guidance Counselors

Ms. White
Ms. White was raised in West Cape May, NJ and is a graduate of LCMR. Ms White received her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Master of Science in Community Counseling from Wilmington College in New Castle, Delaware. Prior to transitioning to a career in education, Ms. White maintained a successful career in Corporate America. Ms. White serves as the Guidance Department Liaison and is the Freshmen Academy Counselor.

Mr. Courtney
Mr. Courtney grew up in Deptford Township and received his undergraduate degree in history from Rowan University. Mr. Courtney received his graduate degree in School Counseling from Wilmington College in New Castle, DE. Prior to coming to LCMR, Mr. Courtney honorably served four years in the United States Marine Corps and was a Guidance Counselor at Lindenwold High School in Camden County.

Ms. Markovitz
Ms. Markovitz grew up in the Harrisburg area and has recently moved to New Jersey. She attended undergraduate school at the University of Pittsburgh, where she double majored in Psychology and Sociology. After graduation, she received her Master's from West Chester University and worked at Great Valley High School in Malvern, PA. Ms. Markovitz also serves as the advisor for the Class of 2010.

Mrs. O'Donoghue
Ms. O'Donoghue grew up in Cape May and is a graduate of LCMR. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA. After college, she worked for Cape Counseling. She then attended Cambridge College in Massachusetts, where she received her Masters in Education and School Counseling, while working in a high school in Boston, MA. Ms. O'Donoghue also serves as an assistant field hockey coach for the high school.

Ms. Novitskie
Ms. Novitskie grew up in Vineland, NJ and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Rowan University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling in Educational Settings from Rowan University. Before coming to Lower Cape May Regional High School, Ms. Novitskie taught physical education for three years at St. Mary Magdalen Regional School in Millville, NJ.
