The ACT (Atlantic Cape Transition) Network is comprised of school and business representatives working cooperatively on teaching New Jersey Workplace Readiness Skills for middle and secondary students in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland Counties. The videoconference networked school and business partners at multiple sites in Southern New Jersey. The other participants included Egg Harbor Township High School, Rowan University, Middle Township Middle School, Cape May County Special Services District, Ocean City High School, and Upper Township Middle School. The staff and students from LCMR who participated included Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Hoffman, Mr. Best, Mr. Ridgway, Miss Mastracchio, Chris Helvitson, Niesheia Arrington, Mark Corlett and Allen Gurdgiel. The School To Career Activities discussed were the various student run entrepreneurial programs such as the Caper Café, Bagel Shop, Car Detailing, Caper Express Staff Lunches, and Balloons 'R Us. Students and staff commented on how these programs have benefited them and enhanced the learning process.
